Event Details

Operation Culture performs at The Palm Room on April 26th at 10pm.

From the website:

Operation Culture emerged from the collaborative spirit of brothers Flaco and Daniel Rodriguez, who were nurtured by their industrious immigrant family. With their heritage spanning Peru, Venezuela, and Spain, they found themselves at the crossroads of diverse cultures, never fully aligning with just one.
Their unique paths were paved by varied interests – skateboarding, surfing, video gaming, Jiu-Jitsu, and MMA – which not only shaped their individual identities but also exposed them to a mosaic of communities. The ethos of reggae music, with its rebellious undercurrents and positive messages, resonated deeply with them, weaving its way into the fabric of their existence and ultimately influencing their musical style.
Flaco reflects on his eclectic musical influences, saying, “From the Latin tunes my mom loved to play, to the hip-hop tracks my skatepark friend introduced me to, I’ve always been intrigued by the way different places inspire different sounds. Reggae music struck a chord with me at 11, and I’ve been captivated ever since.”
