Louis. The Rapper performs at Cameron Art Museum on May 16th from 7pm to 8pm as part of the Sunset Performance Series.  The event is free, but there’s a suggested donation of $5.

Coming off the release of his new album Indigo Child, Louis. The Rapper explores themes of Afro-futurism through personal reflection and storytelling.

Louis. is a rapper, producer, and DJ from Wilmington, NC, known for blending traditional hip-hop sound with modern stylings. He draws inspiration from artists like Jay Z, Lupe Fiasco, Ghostface, and Kendrick Lamar and focuses on the complexities of the moral grey area in his music. In 2020, he released his debut solo album Saturday Night Cartoons, which was followed by a self-produced album titled Memories in Retrograde (2021).
